Summary

We are looking for a ‘hands on’ person to undertake works on Conwy Council facilities and services. These range from coastal and flood infrastructure to cemeteries and can include activities such as inspecting and reporting on culverts, drains, gullies, pump stations and sewerage plant or burial operations, grounds maintenance and beach management. The operations of the team are wide ranging and require a dedicated team player who has a broad range of skills and experience.

You’ll have:

  • Certificate of professional competence (CPC) for driving
  • Hold one or more training certificates or evidence in the operations of different portable and hand‑held power tools and equipment; including but not limited to chainsaws, high‑pressure jetters, drills, grinders, cutting equipment, generators
  • Hold professional qualifications in at least one of the following operational/industry areas: Sewerage, Drainage, Burial Operations, Construction trade, Building/infrastructure maintenance, Facilities Management
