With one of the busiest events programmes in the region, Conwy County plays host to local, national and international events and for more than a decade Conwy County Borough Council has been committed to supporting a vibrant, year round events calendar. Events enrich the cultural life of the county, encourage participation by residents and visitors alike and support the economy and our communities. Responsibilities:

  • Engage with the organisers of both new and established events, assisting them with all aspects of their event.
  • Support the county’s Safety Advisory Group meetings and coordinate event organisers attending the meetings.
  • Be a key part of delivering the council’s own programme of events.

Requirements:

If you have a keen eye for detail, first rate organisation and communication skills and understand what it takes to put an event together you might be our candidate. If you also get that buzz from seeing your meticulous planning drop into place for a successful event, we would love to hear from you.

Contract:

This is a fixed term post to cover the maternity leave of the current postholder.

Welsh Language Skills:

The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post. We are committed to our Welsh language and are proud of our Welsh culture.
