Conwy County Borough Council Disability team are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join the day services team.

The new recruit will need to be aware of the issues that affect service users in a day service setting, e.g. rights and responsibilities, choice, confidentiality.

We are looking for someone who can assist service users to work towards independent achievements and continual attainment of skills and goals, including daily living skills.

Other duties include assisting service users who are unable to fully attend to their own personal needs, including – meal times and tea breaks.

The successful person will work with other staff to assess and prepare programs to meet the individual’s needs and record and pass on information to the relevant people.

A willingness to work to one’s own initiative, take responsibility and manage any challenges in an appropriate manner is essential.

This post is English essential and Welsh essential so applicants will need to demonstrate that they meet this criteria.
