Responsibilities:
- Organize, prepare and serve food at lunchtime for the students, staff and visitors of Ysgol Betws yn Rhos.
- Provide on‑the‑job training for new cooks and colleagues.
- Cook the meals required, manage portion control, food service, ordering, washing up and cleaning of kitchen and dining room.
- Be prepared to undergo appropriate training and development (sometimes outside normal working days/hours by prior arrangement) such as Intermediate Food Hygiene and Basic Nutrition.
- Perform associated clerical duties.
Due to the nature of the work, it will be necessary to obtain a satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as the Criminal Records Bureau).
