We are looking for an organised, motivated, and people-focused Committee Services Officer to join our Democratic Services Team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting the Council's democratic decision-making processes and helping ensure transparent, effective governance across the organisation.
As a Committee Services Officer, you will be responsible for the smooth and accurate administration of the Council's formal committee meetings. This includes preparing agendas, liaising with service areas, producing clear and precise minutes, and ensuring actions arising from meetings are followed up appropriately. You will also act as a key support to elected and co-opted members by providing advice on meeting procedures, governance arrangements, and published reports.
