Join a dedicated and supportive team making a real difference to families across Conwy.

In this rewarding role, you will be part of a strong, supportive team, providing guidance and practical support to childcare providers and families within the Welsh Government Funded Childcare for 2 Year Olds programme. You will play an important role in helping families access high-quality childcare and supporting children as they begin their early years journey.

You will be based in a Family centre alongside the Conwy Family Support Teams and will travel across Conwy County to provide support to families and childcare providers.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience creating caring, safe and stimulating environments for young children
• Is confident in supporting families as their child begins their childcare journey
• Understands the importance of high-quality play opportunities for pre-school children
• Experience in supporting children’s progress and development through assessment based on observations of children’s daily activities
• Has a good knowledge of child development and learning
• Can support and promote children’s speech, language and communication development
• Enjoys working in partnership with parents and carers to support children’s progress at home
