Job Description

We have vacancies for dedicated support staff to join our team in Oakvale Manor, North Belfast.

The service will be supporting our service users to live a full and valued life.

Job type – Full time or Part time, permanent

Hours - Day/Night duty

Salary – Β£12.71 - Β£13.50 (depending on experience)

About The Role

About the role

Key responsibilities:

  • As a Support Worker, you will work with the service user to help them live life to the full
  • Support the team to provide the highest quality, person-centred care and adhere to the PBS Plan.
  • Assist the service user with daily living activities and personal care whilst promoting independence, respect and dignity.
  • Support the service users physical and emotional wellbeing.
  • Promote best practice in relation to health & safety, confidentiality and security. Care will be carried out under the supervision / direction of a Team Leader and Senior Support Worker.

Ideal candidate:

  • Caring and friendly nature to help create a homely environment for our service user.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Experience in a care background is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
