Conway Group Healthcare has an exciting recruitment opportunity for a Registered Home Manager at Willowbrook Care Centre, a 31-bed facility in Osborne Park, Belfast. The centre is designed to cater for residents with complex needs including learning disability, brain injury and physical disability. Our vision is to provide a comfortable and therapeutic living environment that enables supportive steps towards recovery and mental wellbeing.
Location – Willowbrook Care Centre, Belfast. Salary – Attractive remuneration package.
About the Role
As Registered Home Manager, you will provide effective clinical leadership by supporting the care team to ensure Residents\' safety and dignity in a caring environment where residents and their families feel happy and secure. You should have experience in mental health care, care planning, and using clinical assessment tools. You will develop leadership skills, build close relationships with residents and families, and drive continuous improvement and compliance with our clinical governance framework. This is an excellent opportunity to develop within your career. Preference will be given to candidates with management experience in a mental health setting, though highly motivated applicants with limited management experience may be considered if they demonstrate enthusiasm and a clear desire to progress.
Responsibilities
- Operational management of the nursing home, including budget management.
- Clinical expertise and knowledge of best practices in mental health care.
- Guiding, instructing and monitoring professional nursing staff, student nurses, health care assistants and other ancillary staff in the Home.
- Engaging with staff and promoting a positive workplace culture.
- Maintaining a strong working knowledge of regulatory standards.
- Mentoring staff to drive continuous improvement and high-quality patient-centred care.
- Access to local regional operations support and annual NMC registration paid by the employer.
Requirements
- Valid UK NMC pin
- The Right to Work in the UK
- Approx. 5 years of experience in related care roles
