We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Junior Health & Safety Administrator to join our team and support the effective delivery of health and safety services across our organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in health and safety administration, looking to grow their career within a dynamic, multi‑disciplined environment.
Location: P J Conway Ltd, 58 Moneymore Road
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Manage Health & Safety files, complete and maintain risk assessments, log incidents and ensure appropriate follow‑up, handle day‑to‑day health and safety requirements.
- Record‑Keeping & Reporting: Maintain compliance and training trackers, generate regular reports, support with GDPR documentation, update fire safety and accident logs.
- Training Coordination: Schedule training with external providers, maintain and update the training matrix, ensure certifications are up‑to‑date and correctly filed.
- Team Support: Assist the Senior Health & Safety Advisor, Managers, and Directors, support system and documentation management, take part in inspections and Health & Safety Committee meetings, liaise with external contacts where required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Essential: NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety, previous experience in a health and safety admin role, ideally within a large, multi‑disciplined organisation, access to a car and a full, clean UK driving licence, ability to prioritize workload, communicate well, and handle confidential information appropriately.
- Desirable: Experience in sectors such as property, construction, or related fields.
