Senior Property Lawyer – Hybrid Working – £45k OTE with Uncapped Bonus Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Property Lawyer to join our team in Manchester. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in conveyancing and experience managing their own caseload. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee an average caseload of 50 files, managing all stages of the conveyancing process from instruction to completion.
• Manage the full conveyancing cycle: taking instructions, preparing and submitting legal documents (contracts, letters, Land Registry, HMRC forms) to completing exchange and completion.
• Pre-Completion Tasks: Carry out Land Registry and conveyancing searches, ensuring all necessary paperwork and funds are in place to facilitate exchange and completion.
• Post-Completion Tasks: Manage file closures, prepare applications to the Land Registry, submit Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) returns, and maintain accurate ledgers.
• Maintain compliance: Ensure files are kept up-to-date and in line with regulatory requirements.
• Client & Third-Party Communication: Liaise with clients, third parties, and colleagues to ensure smooth progress of all matters.

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous fee-earning/caseload management experience in conveyancing is essential.
• Qualifications such as a Law Degree, LPC, or qualification as a Licensed Conveyancer, Solicitor, or Legal Executive (FCILEX) are preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communicator: Ability to manage client relationships, handle communications effectively, and maintain clear and accurate records.
