Own what the product does, why it does it, and the order in which it evolves. Act as the single point of accountability for product decisions and priorities. Bridge the gap between conveyancing expertise and software development in a structured, sustainable way.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Ownership & Direction: Understand the product vision for Convey365’s conveyancing software platforms. Help decide what should be built, what should not be built, and what matters most. Ensure product decisions align with customer needs, business goals, and regulatory realities.
- Customer, Legal & Regulatory Alignment: Ensure software reflects real‑world conveyancing processes and pressures. Embed legal, compliance, and data protection considerations early in product decisions. Represent the voice of customers and end users in day‑to‑day product discussions.
- Requirements & Prioritisation: Translate conveyancing business and domain needs into clear, structured requirements for development teams. Maintain and prioritise the product backlog. Manage trade‑offs between scope, priority, risk, and delivery effort.
- Delivery Support: Work closely with development teams throughout delivery. Support release planning and ensure features are ready for live customer use. Review delivered work to confirm it meets intended outcomes. Author release articles and training materials such as user guides and training videos.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders, conveyancing experts, and software teams. Clearly communicate priorities, decisions, and changes. Provide continuity of product knowledge as customers and features scale.
