The two roles available are for full-time, on-site Conveyancing Lawyers and Probate Lawyers to be based in Sutton Coldfield. The successful applicants will be expected to be experienced in their discipline.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and preparing legal documents and running a workload expected in these areas of law.
  • Advising clients under supervision, responding to legal queries, and helping to resolve legal issues in a clear, practical manner.
  • Liaising with external stakeholders such as clients, lenders, estate agents, and other legal professionals to ensure timely progression of matters.
  • Maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm standards, and contributing to process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Strong foundation in Law, with experience or training in property law and/or wills and probate preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability in Legal Consulting and handling Legal Issues, including practical problem-solving and risk assessment.
  • Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts, correspondence, and case files.
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly to clients and colleagues.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
  • Comfort with legal practice management systems, standard office software, and secure document handling.
  • Commitment to ethical practice, client care, teamwork, and ongoing professional development.
