Due to continued success and planned growth, we are seeking exceptional and motivated remortgage conveyancers, case handlers and/or experienced legal assistants who are ready to take the next step in their career. This is an excellent opportunity to build a rewarding career with an innovative, award‑winning and industry leading residential conveyancing company based in Newport, South Wales.
On a daily basis this will involve:
- Manage your own Remortgage Caseload: Take responsibility for and complete re‑mortgage matters. You will oversee the legal elements of the remortgage process which will cover tenancy remortgages, staircasing, leasehold and transfer of equity among others.
- Administrative Tasks: Carry out day to day legal administration on behalf of lenders.
- Accuracy and Client Service: Ensure that work is accurately carried out within the set time frame whilst maintaining high standards of client care and service to third parties.
- Client Communication: Deal with incoming correspondence and emails, take phone calls, record them on the CMS and take necessary action.
- Case Management: Proactively progress cases through the CMS and keep files updated.
- Reporting and Due Diligence: Review property titles, report on mortgage offers and coordinate relevant mortgage information with other parties involved in the process.
- Achievement of Targets: Meet the department's set targets and work proactively to tight deadlines.
