We are looking for a Conveyancing Auditor to work in our Conveyancer Support team with the following key responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough audits of conveyancing Sale and Purchase files to ensure compliance with legal requirements, regulatory standards and internal policies, identifying discrepancies, risks or areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.
- Providing feedback to conveyancers on audit findings and support process improvements, promoting a culture of compliance and operational excellence.
- Liaising with the conveyancing teams and providing them with information for complex transactions as they arise, and assisting, when required, with post work, including dealing with replies to enquiries, management packs, mortgage offers, searches and title checks.
This will be an ideal opportunity for an experienced conveyancer who wishes to move into a non-fee earning role.
The Individual
To be successful in the recruitment process you will need to evidence the following in your CV:
- Qualified conveyancer or equivalent legal professional with 3 years conveyancing experience, ideally with previous experience in Auditing.
- Strong knowledge of property law to include Title Checking, Leaseholds, New Builds.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills to be able to provide constructive feedback and guidance.
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office products and proficiency in using Case Management Systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
