Convertmy is an FMB-accredited building company based in Trafford, specialising in loft conversions, garage conversions, extensions, and bespoke domestic builds across the North West.

Location: Trafford, Greater Manchester & Surrounding Areas

Pay: £35,000 - £50,000 + Enhanced Weekend Overtime Rates

Contract Type: PAYE (with Holiday Pay) or CIS Subcontracting available

The Role

  • First fix: cut roofs, dormer structures, steel beams, stud wall framing
  • Second fix: doors, staircases, skirting, architraves, mouldings
  • Kitchen fitting: carcasses, worktops, pelmets, appliance housing
  • Roofing: felt, batten, tile, and slate on conversion projects
  • Plasterboarding: drylining and ceiling boarding
  • Insulation: PIR boards, mineral wool, breathable membranes
  • Drawings: working from architectural plans and specs
  • Working safely at height and to regulations throughout

Got other trade skills? Plumbing, electrics, tiling, rendering, windows, or anything else - mention it in your application. It's a bonus, not a requirement, and it works in your favour.

What You'll Need

  • NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry & Joinery (minimum)
  • Solid domestic construction experience, ideally conversions
  • Confidence working at height
  • Own hand and power tools
  • Full UK driving licence
  • CSCS card preferred, not essential
