A renewables company based in East London are looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer with heavy industrial experience ideally for a days based position. You will be responsible to provide first line maintenance to a large scale, renewable energy facility. This role will ensure downtime is reduced or eliminated and complete preventative maintenance to meet the company KPIs and budgets.
Responsibilities
- Carry out repairs and maintenance on process equipment including pumps, shredders, macerators etc.
- Carry out repairs and maintenance on mechanical sorting equipment.
- Carry out repairs and maintenance on a variety of gas handling equipment including blowers, compressors, upgrading units and filtration systems.
- Carrying out full site PPMs and managing the inspection regime with a software-based CMMS system.
- Carrying out repairs by deploying fabrication and welding equipment.
- Perform mechanical, electrical and C&I fault finding on a variety of process equipment using a mixture of conventional techniques, SCADA analysis, PLC fault finding and PID diagrams.
