Convertech – Double E Group is looking for two proactive Maintenance Engineers to join our food manufacturing site in Beeston. The role offers a flexible working pattern, no night shifts, and a balance between work and life.
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative, predictive and breakdown maintenance across plant, high‑speed packaging and site services.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and project work including electrical installation and modification.
- Perform electrical fault finding, PLC modification and control panel work (HMiS, SCADA, PLC, HMiS).
- Provide routine mechanical fault finding and preventive maintenance for plant equipment.
Qualifications
- Minimum Level 3 engineering qualification; apprenticeship training (City & Guilds, BTEC, NVQ) preferred.
- Excellent problem‑solving and fault diagnosis skills.
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault finding and repair capabilities.
- Knowledge of PLC systems, control panels, HMiS and SCADA beneficial.
- Adherence to electrical safety standards.
