Are you a maintenance engineer looking for a new challenge? Due to the introduction of a new line, we are expanding the current maintenance team. We are ideally looking for a Multi-Skilled engineer with a mechanical bias, but are open to electrically biased engineers as well.
This role is available to recent promotions to engineering team leader, with a very settled team.
Recently, the site installed a new CMMS system and stores, with new lines and an overhaul project completed.
While this environment is fast-paced and in food manufacturing, we consider engineers from all backgrounds, including those exiting the forces.
Responsibilities of a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer
- Reactive and planned maintenance on high-speed packing machinery.
- Machine start-up routines and non-routine shutdowns.
- Full diagnosis and corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Communicating machine status and performance across shifts.
- Collaborating with the production team to ensure optimum output.
Qualifications Required
- Time served or Apprentice Trained Engineer.
- NVQ, BTEC, City and Guilds Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines.
- Experience in a Food or fast-paced Manufacturing environment.
- Team player with a passion for learning.
Benefits
- Basic salary of £49,450 plus paid overtime.
- Working 4 days on, 4 days off, days and nights (2 days, 2 nights).

- Pension and 20 days holiday.
