What You’ll Do (With Our Support and Your Expertise)

• Lead with Vision: Oversee every phase of data centre security projects—from concept to completion. Plan, schedule, and execute with precision, managing budgets, procurement, and field teams to deliver on time and within cost.
• Drive Financial Success: Take charge of project finances—track costs, handle variations, and ensure positive cash flow. Use your analytical skills to keep projects profitable and on target.
• Build Strong Connections: Act as the key liaison with customers, proactively communicating updates, aligning on goals, and ensuring Convergint remains their trusted partner.
• Master Complexity: Juggle multiple projects efficiently, coordinating site teams, third-party suppliers, and internal stakeholders to deliver seamless results.

What You’ll Bring to the Table

• Proven experience managing technical projects (e.g., fire alarms, electronic security systems) with a track record of success.
• A deep understanding of data centre security needs and market trends.
• Exceptional leadership and team-building skills—rallying others is second nature to you.
• Sharp financial acumen to control costs and maximize project outcomes.
• Stellar communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English and Spanish.
• Adaptability to handle shifting priorities and proactive problem-solving under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic IT networking knowledge.
• Familiarity with Spanish construction processes and legislation—a bonus that sets you apart.

Requirements

• Education: Degree in engineering, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience via NVQ/BTEC or trade school).
• Experience: 2+ years in project management or field service, ideally in security systems or construction, plus 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Certifications: PMI certification is a plus; industry-specific credentials and a valid driver’s license are highly desired.
• Physical Demands: Comfortable with site visits requiring PPE (e.g., safety glasses, steel-toed shoes) and occasional lifting up to 25 lbs (or 100 lbs with assistance).
