The Vice President, Enterprise Risk Management / Legal Entity Risk supports the delivery of Enterprise Risk Management activities across global legal entities and jurisdictions.
The role provides second-line oversight and effective challenge across key risk processes, while helping ensure legal entity considerations are reflected in broader enterprise risk management.
The role also supports Legal Entity Risk Office activities, including risk governance, committee reporting and oversight of first-line risk management.
Working across Risk, Compliance and platforms, the individual will help ensure material risks are identified, assessed, managed and escalated appropriately and support the team in advancing AI capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery and ongoing development of the International Enterprise Risk Management framework.
- Contribute to key ERM processes, including Risk Appetite, Risk Identification and Assessment, Scenario Analysis, Stress Testing and Emerging Risk Management.
- Provide review and challenge across risk activities to help ensure material risks are appropriately identified and managed.
- Support risk reporting, thematic analysis and preparation of materials for senior management, boards and governance forums.
- Assist in embedding legal entity risk governance and ensuring alignment with enterprise risk standards.
- Provide oversight of first-line risk management activities, including Risk Appetite metrics, operational risk events and business change risk assessments.
- Support governance processes by ensuring legal entity, local and regulatory considerations are appropriately reflected.
- Help interpret relevant local regulatory requirements and support engagement with stakeholders on legal entity risk matters.
- Contribute to responses for Internal Audit, regulatory reviews and client due diligence requests where needed.
Experience And Skills
- Experience in Enterprise Risk Management, Legal Entity Risk, Operational Risk or a related second-line risk role.
- Good understanding of core risk management processes and governance.
- Ability to review, challenge and interpret risk information in a clear and practical way.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including committee and reporting support.
- Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and jurisdictions.
- Organised, collaborative and able to manage competing priorities effectively.
