We are looking for a Sales Lead to build and scale Convergent's go-to-market engine from the ground up. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue, building strategic relationships, and developing the playbooks that will fuel our growth. This is a foundational, high-ownership position, ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, how open doors, and wants to build something truly meaningful from day one.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the leadership team to define the sales strategy, pipeline structure, and customer acquisition model for a new category of AI-powered learning, assessment, and enablement products.
- Develop and execute Convergent's B2B sales strategy, from lead generation to closing enterprise deals.
- Identify, qualify, and convert high-value prospects across targeted verticals.
- Build and manage the sales pipeline, tracking and reporting performance metrics to leadership.
- Craft and refine sales narratives, demos, and value propositions that clearly articulate product impact.
- Collaborate closely with product and marketing teams to ensure tight alignment between GTM and product development.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key decision-makers and industry partners.
- Design and continuously optimize repeatable sales playbooks and motion.
- Contribute to pricing strategy, market positioning, and long-term GTM strategy.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or enterprise partnerships, ideally in a fast-paced SaaS startup or scaleup.
- Proven track record of closing complex deals and exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills with the ability to translate product value into business impact.
- Experience managing sales pipelines, CRM tools, and outbound prospecting strategies.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently, set priorities, and execute fast.
- Excellent relationship-building skills and executive presence.
- High energy, resilience, and a bias for action in ambiguous, high-growth environments.
Benefits
Compensation varies based on profile and experience, but a general cash range (fixed comp + performance variable) is $150,000-$300,000, plus a very competitive equity package.
