About us: Convergent builds AI systems that enhance (rather than replace) humans. We are intellectually curious, driven, optimistic, and no-BS technologists and humanists with world-class expertise at the intersection of the technologies that will define this generation. Our mission is to drive exponential advances in human learning, communication, decision-making, and collaboration to ensure human flourishing in the era of AI and robotics. Our first product combines AI agents, immersive technology, adaptive learning, and deep analytics to let any business or private individual easily create and deploy advanced learning and training experiences that simulate real-world scenarios using context-specific info, documentation, and KPIs. We have global ambitions, and we’re growing extremely fast.
About the role: We are looking for a Growth & Social Media Intern for a high-impact role at the heart of a fast-growing AI startup. You’ll play a key role in amplifying our mission, shaping how the world discovers and connects with us, and building an engaged community. This is not just about posting—it’s about telling our story, building momentum, and helping to define the public face of a company creating the future of human-AI collaboration. This role is perfect for someone entrepreneurial, deeply curious, and excited to build something meaningful from the ground up.
You will:
- Work closely with the founding, social media, and product marketing teams to build our voice across platforms, support core growth initiatives, and turn ideas into content that inspires.
- Contribute to the content and social media strategy across platforms (X, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit) to grow awareness and engagement.
- Create, schedule, and experiment with posts, stories, and campaigns (text reflections, videos, carousels, memes, threads, reels) that reflect our brand voice.
- Help grow and engage our community through thoughtful storytelling and consistent presence.
- Monitor trends, conversations, and engagement to identify opportunities for organic growth.
- Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, product launches, and partnerships.
- Help manage waitlists, onboarding flows, and engagement with early users.
- Conduct competitive research, synthesize insights, and help shape our growth playbook.
- Track and report on campaign performance and key KPIs (reach, engagement, conversions).
- Work directly with the leadership team on special projects that drive visibility and traction.
Requirements:
- Preference for candidates enrolled in or that recently completed a Bachelor’s in Psychology, Communications, Marketing, Philosophy, English, Computer Science, or related subjects.
- Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills, with a talent for distilling complex ideas.
- Passion for social media, storytelling, and creating content that resonates.
- Deep curiosity and enthusiasm for AI, emerging technologies, and the humanistic implications of human-AI collaboration.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms (X, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit) and their native content formats.
- A proactive, self-starter mindset—resourceful, organized, and comfortable with ambiguity.
- Strong sense of aesthetics and brand voice.
- Willingness to learn fast, take ownership, and grow with the team.
Cultural fit: You will be successful and grow fast (position, ownership, compensation) if you display the following characteristics:
- You move fast, delivering meaningful results daily, not monthly or quarterly.
- You are intellectually curious, humble, and constantly seeking to learn and improve.
- You are driven, ambitious, energetic, and stay optimistic and resilient through setbacks.
- You are self-motivated, independent, take initiative, and thrive in risk and ambiguity.
- You communicate clearly and directly, embrace feedback without defensiveness, and lean into hard conversations.
- You have a growth mindset and find problems without being told about them.
- You act with integrity, follow through, and earn trust through honesty and consistency.
Compensation: Compensation varies based on profile and experience, but a general cash range for the 3-month internship (fixed comp + performance variable) is $7,500-$15,000, plus a competitive equity package in case you are confirmed.
