At Convergence Group, we’re on a mission to make business connectivity simple - like a true utility - cutting through complexity and putting customers first. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a WAN Delivery Co‑ordinator to keep things moving behind the scenes. You’ll be the go‑to person making sure orders flow smoothly from sale to live service – connecting the dots across teams and suppliers, staying one step ahead of potential delays, and keeping everything on track so services go live without a hitch.
What It’s Really Like Here
The pace and intensity are higher than most environments in our sector. The workload is typically around 30% greater than many people will have experienced elsewhere – not because we are chaotic, but because we are ambitious and constantly building. We grow organically and through acquisition, continuously integrating, improving and raising the bar. The landscape evolves, priorities shift, and expectations rise. If you prefer a predictable, static environment, this probably won’t feel comfortable. If you are energized by growth, movement and high standards, it can be deeply rewarding.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Keep Orders Moving – take ownership of customer orders from sales acceptance through to live service delivery, ensuring everything is ready for installation and nothing slips through the cracks.
- Keeping Everyone in the Loop – communicate clearly and consistently with customer and stakeholders via phone, Teams and email, setting expectations and managing risks early.
- Working Across Teams – collaborate with Sales Ops, NOC, Project Management, and suppliers, challenging delays and keeping orders on track.
- Staying on Top of Your Queue – manage your workload effectively, prioritising blocked or at‑risk orders to maintain speed, consistency and delivery performance.
- Hitting the Right Results – consistently deliver against key targets, including >95% of order updates completed on time, and reducing Mean Time to Provide (MTTP).
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years in a customer service focused role
- 2+ years in a computer‑based administrator or coordination role
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Clear and confident communication – comfortable picking up the phone.
- High attention to detail and a proactive mindset
- Confident using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel
- A minimum of 5 GCSE’s including English
- Experience in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
- Ability to pass BPSS and other clearance checks
Bonus points if you have
- Experience with provisioning or project coordination (e.g. Prince2)
- Knowledge of WAN products (Ethernet, broadband, 4G, radio networks)
- Experience of working on customer portals
What You’ll Get
- £30,000 - £35,000 salary
- 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)
- Private medical insurance
- Enhanced pension, income protection & life assurance
- Hybrid working – 3 days a week in the Solihull office
- Dog‑friendly office – yes, really
