We’re looking for an experienced HR Business Partner who can build credibility quickly, think commercially and partner with leaders to strengthen teams, develop talent and support long‑term success.

What It’s Really Like Here

The pace and intensity are higher than most environments in our sector. The workload is typically around 30% greater than many people will have experienced elsewhere – not because we are chaotic, but because we are ambitious and constantly building. We grow organically and through acquisition, continuously integrating, improving and raising the bar. The landscape evolves, priorities shift and expectations rise. If you prefer a predictable, static environment, this probably won’t feel comfortable. This environment is for those energized by growth, movement and high standards. It demands respectful honesty, curiosity, learning and ownership. The stretch at Convergence Group is navigating pace, complexity and constant evolution. For the right person, it offers an exceptional opportunity for impact, growth and accelerated development.

What You’ll Need To Make An Impact

  • 10+ years’ HR experience, including at least 5 years operating as an HR Business Partner
  • Experience partnering with managers in a fast‑paced commercial, operational, technical, engineering, telecommunications, utilities or service‑led environment
  • Strong UK employment law knowledge and experience managing complex employee relations cases
  • Proven success driving performance, capability and behavioural change
  • Experience supporting transformation and business change initiatives
  • Strong coaching, influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to use people data and insight to drive business decisions
  • Confidence to challenge constructively and credibility to bring others with you
  • A belief in personal responsibility and adult‑to‑adult working relationships

  • Integrity, credibility and sound judgement
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Resilience and adaptability
  • A solutions‑focused mindset
