Construction is one of the most fundamental industries on the planet, yet it has also been left behind by the digitalisation revolutions which have transformed other industrial sectors. Construction accounts for 11% of global carbon emissions, employs 7% of the global workforce, and accounts for 13% of global GDP. At Converge, we believe that if we are going to be building the cities, structures, and societies of the future then something has to change. We also believe that change will be impossible if you are not measuring what’s actually happening on the ground. That’s why we are building our Physical Intelligence Platform, ConstructionDNA, to help the industry build the future more efficiently, safely, and sustainably.
We’re hiring a Senior Product Designer to help define experiences across our SAAS software and physical products. Product Designers play a vital role here; they help craft and shape our customer experience with engineering and product teams. Do you get excited about building and shipping both usable and scalable SAAS products? Do you enjoy creating delightful experiences that are truly customer-focused and create ambitious outcomes for the business? Do you create design solutions that can be easily turned into reality? Do you like to make rapid prototypes to validate with customers? Then come work your magic at Converge!
What will I be doing?
- Take products from zero to one and expand and improve — shaping insight and ideas into prototypes and bringing new experiences to life for ConstructionDNA.
- Lead user research across customer interviews, usability testing, building insights as you go and running rapid experiments, turning them into product outcomes.
- Be customer-informed and product-minded, blending user needs with metrics to guide decisions and measure success.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, influencing strategy and aligning stakeholders through clear prioritisation and storytelling.
- Run concept sprints and rapidly prototype high-fidelity concepts that inspire teams and customers.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment, knowing when to move quickly and when to refine the details.
- Apply your design skills to SaaS products, making a positive impact in the construction industry.
- Collaborate with Design Leadership to inform and improve our design culture and ways of working.

- 5+ years experience designing digital products and SAAS services, including user experience, interaction, and user interface design, delivering solutions that have elevated customer and user experience.
- A great understanding of how design impacts development, along with a knack for constructing dynamic, interactive prototypes and designs that are technically feasible.
- Experienced in user research and usability testing best practice, specifically in regards to user-centred design.
- Experience in hypothesis-driven design, user validation, and defining quick and inexpensive ways of learning and iterating.
