About Us

Construction is one of the most fundamental industries on the planet – just try to imagine human societies without buildings – yet it has also been left behind by the digitalisation revolutions which have transformed other industrial sectors. Construction also accounts for 11% of global carbon emissions, while employing 7% of the global workforce and accounting for 13% of global GDP. At Converge, we believe that if we are going to be building the cities, structures, and societies of the future then something has to change. We also believe that change will be impossible if you are not measuring what’s actually happening on the ground. That’s why we are building our Physical Intelligence Platform, ConstructionDNA, to help the industry build the future more efficiently, more safely, and more sustainably. We’re a small but ever-growing team of 50+ people with a global outlook. As a team, we are passionate about cutting‑edge digital innovation and driven by our mission to build the future more efficiently, safely and sustainably. Come join us!

Role

We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our team. Your responsibilities:

  • Top of funnel demand generation activities, you will be responsible for outbounding and finding new business opportunities (sites/deals/contacts).
  • Embracing new technologies such as LLMs, AI Sales tools and other digital methods to prospect and reach our target customers.
  • Research and discovery of new projects within targeted regions, identification of parties involved and the personnel within those organizations that could be our ideal customer profiles (ICPs).
  • Working with Marketing, develop, test and evolve the outbounding messaging to the target ICPs. A‑B testing results for continuous improvement and increased customer interest.
  • Learn and continually develop the outbounding methodology with data‑driven analytics to measure the effectiveness of each and every interaction, offer insights to what works well and not so well for each targeted region.
  • Adjust the outbounding content in collaboration with the marketing team to suit the different regions we target and associated ICPs.
  • Track all activities with the CRM tool (HubSpot) and report on KPIs.
  • Work in conjunction with the commercial sales team, by region to share information, target accounts, projects and people.
  • You will primarily focus on the US market, our largest growth region, but will also spend a portion of your time prospecting for other key regions such as UK, EU, Middle East & APAC.
  • We work in a hybrid model; this role will be based in our office at London Blackfriars 3 days a week.

Requirements

  • 6 months+ experience in sales, marketing or similar functions. While we do not require specific industry experience, some exposure to B2B sales is preferred.
  • Experience in and familiarity with the US market landscape – not necessarily in the concrete industry, but you should be comfortable working across different regions in the US.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to build rapport easily.
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills, proven ability to work across multiple work streams.
  • Ability to research and identify target prospects by leveraging available tooling, including AI and LLMs.

Benefits

  • 25 days + Bank Holidays. We also close over the end‑of‑year holiday so you can spend more time with your loved ones.
  • Private Healthcare through AXA.
  • Enhanced Parental Leave so you can focus on your new bundle of joy instead of worrying about expenses.
  • Cycle to Work Scheme so you can help reduce emissions but still get from A to B easily.
  • A fun, inclusive workplace that celebrates diversity in all its forms, and where everyone can bring their whole selves to work and be treated fairly, equitably and respectfully.
