AV Installations Engineer

Field-Based | UK-Wide Travel

Department: Pre-Sales & Consultancy

Reports to: AV Installations Manager

Are you passionate about delivering high-quality AV solutions and looking to take the next step in your engineering career? Converge Technology Solutions is expanding its in-house AV capability, and we're looking for an AV Installations Engineer to join our growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a forward-thinking technology provider committed to sustainability, customer excellence, and empowering its people.

What You'll Do

• Installing a range of audio-visual systems, structured cabling, and data/fibre solutions
• Ensuring all work meets Converge's internal management systems and safety procedures
• Supporting our sustainability strategy through responsible working practices
• Completing installations within project time and budget allowances
• Working closely with clients, partners, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Regular UK travel, including overnight stays when required

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Experience in: AV installations
• Data and fibre cabling
• Cabinet patching and clean installations
• Access point installations

Desired (Not Essential)

• Certification experience with major AV brands (e.g., Promethean)
• Fibre installation/certification
• Wireless site surveys
• Data surveys
