Converge Technology Solutions is looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Partner Manager – Private Sector to join our growing sales team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced technology sales environment, is passionate about building strong customer relationships, and has a proven track record of creating new business opportunities.

As a key part of our private sector team, you will focus on proactively targeting businesses, building run-rate revenue, and driving growth across our sustainable IT solutions, refurb sector, and bundled service offerings.

The Role

As a Partner Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new private sector opportunities while managing and expanding relationships with channel partners, resellers, MSPs, and technology partners. You’ll play a critical role in building pipeline, arranging high-quality customer meetings, and contributing to Converge’s commercial growth strategy. This is a highly proactive sales role requiring confidence, resilience, and a strong understanding of the UK technology market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and target new private sector customers.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities.
  • Generate run-rate business and support strategic sales growth.
  • Promote Converge’s products, services, refurb offerings, and bundled solutions.
  • Arrange and qualify quality sales meetings for Partnership Managers.
  • Gather and maintain customer and competitor intelligence.
  • Record and manage accurate CRM data, pipeline updates, and forecasting.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key channel partners and technology providers.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to improve sales performance and customer experience.
  • Handle customer issues efficiently and escalate where required.
  • Support company sustainability goals and compliance processes.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • GCSE English and Mathematics.
  • Proven experience in Partner Management, Channel Sales, Business Development, or Technology Sales.
  • Experience driving revenue through partner and channel relationships.
  • Strong new business generation skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Highly motivated, target-driven, and commercially focused.
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales tools.
  • Good understanding of the UK private sector technology landscape.

Desirable:

  • NVQ in Business & Communication, Customer Service, or Tele-sales.
  • Experience selling IT hardware, managed services, cloud, or sustainable technology solutions.
  • Knowledge of refurb technology markets and bundled IT solutions.
