Key Responsibilities: As part of the Operations team, you will be trained to become multi-skilled across various departments including IT Recycling, Warehouse, Picking, Assembly, Configuration, and Testing. Your duties will include:

  • Unloading vehicles and palletising incoming IT recycling collections
  • Checking, weighing, and counting stock with accurate data recording
  • Using internal systems to record and track asset information
  • Processing IT equipment for refurbishment, including secure data wiping
  • Repairing equipment to maximise reuse opportunities
  • Dismantling IT systems and equipment prior to recycling
  • Operating shredding equipment (once fully trained)
  • Identifying items suitable for resale and preparing eBay listings
  • Writing accurate product descriptions for online sales
  • Testing a wide range of IT equipment
  • Picking and packing orders ready for shipment
  • Consistently meeting departmental KPIs

About You: We are looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent timekeeping and reliability
  • Works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Has strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Takes a proactive, mature approach to work
  • Is willing to learn and develop new skills

Desirable (not essential): Basic understanding of IT hardware, Knowledge of 5S and LEAN working practices. Full training will be provided, so a positive attitude and willingness to learn are more important than previous experience.

Working Hours: Full-time: 37 hours per week, Shift pattern: Monday to Thursday nights, Hours: 6:00pm – 4:00am.
