Key Responsibilities: As part of the Operations team, you will be trained to become multi-skilled across various departments including IT Recycling, Warehouse, Picking, Assembly, Configuration, and Testing. Your duties will include:
- Unloading vehicles and palletising incoming IT recycling collections
- Checking, weighing, and counting stock with accurate data recording
- Using internal systems to record and track asset information
- Processing IT equipment for refurbishment, including secure data wiping
- Repairing equipment to maximise reuse opportunities
- Dismantling IT systems and equipment prior to recycling
- Operating shredding equipment (once fully trained)
- Identifying items suitable for resale and preparing eBay listings
- Writing accurate product descriptions for online sales
- Testing a wide range of IT equipment
- Picking and packing orders ready for shipment
- Consistently meeting departmental KPIs
About You: We are looking for someone who:
- Has excellent timekeeping and reliability
- Works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Has strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Takes a proactive, mature approach to work
- Is willing to learn and develop new skills
Desirable (not essential): Basic understanding of IT hardware, Knowledge of 5S and LEAN working practices. Full training will be provided, so a positive attitude and willingness to learn are more important than previous experience.
Working Hours: Full-time: 37 hours per week, Shift pattern: Monday to Thursday nights, Hours: 6:00pm – 4:00am.
