We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Bid Specialist to join our Solution Sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the acquisition of customer projects, including education frameworks. They will work closely with the Sales team, Pre-sales, and Professional services team, and must be an exceptional writer with attention to detail, drafting, editing, and proof-reading bids and technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with key opportunity leads, including sales, subject matter experts, architects, and project teams to establish key messages and win themes for each bid.
- Produce winning tenders by writing compelling responses to customer questions and requirements.
- Lead all Free school bid engagement, researching and attending meetings to understand individual customer requirements.
- Co-ordinate and manage the bid process effectively, ensuring timely and organised submission of tenders.
- Manage the bid process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics, with a strong emphasis on new business sales.
- Accountable for a gross profit target.
- Customer acquisition.
- Maintain a high “bid to win” ratio.
- High forecasting accuracy.
- GCSE Maths and English.
- A degree in a related subject and/or professional qualifications would be advantageous.
- Full valid driving licence as UK travel is required.
