We are seeking a Commercial Manager to join our IT Recycling team.
As a Commercial Manager, you will manage existing relationships, prospecting to bring in new routes to market, sell and maximise profit for selling refurbished equipment, increase commercial awareness within the IT Recycling team and purchase refurbished equipment at competitive rates for resale through different vertical routes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide accurate rebate values to the sales team when requested
- Work with management team to ensure targets are on track
- Manage stock levels through our platforms – Stone Refurb, Converge Renew
- Ensure the stock goes to the best routes to market – Stone refurb etc
- Manage meetings with brokers to drive and maintain the margin expectations
- Deliver high quality meetings to qualify that the best IT equipment will be collected i.e. that it is valuable and can be re-sold
- Communicate with customers as required
- Manage and communicate forecasts accurately
- Continuously looking to onboard new brokers
- Attend and contribute to team meetings
- Share ideas and experiences with team, contribute to team improvements
- Work closely and communicate with Recycling operations ahead of collections and afterwards
- Always looking for new suppliers for purchasing equipment
- Ensuring when purchasing equipment, processes are correctly followed
- Ensure all waste is sold through the correct routes and not outside of the UK
- Commercial awareness on making key decisions on what is the best route for equipment
- Deal with complaints swiftly. Correct recording and escalation

Person Specification
- Essential Qualifications: GCSE English and Maths or equivalent, A Levels or equivalent, Business Management qualifications and a Full UK driving licence.
- Essential Experience/Skills: Demonstratable Business Development or Sales Manager experience, experience of the IT broker market, sales performance and gaining new customers through prospecting.
- Desired Experience/Skills: Knowledge of ADISA accreditations, understanding of what is valuable and can be resold, experience working in IT recycling, knowledge of the ITAD and Refurbishment market and Bid/Tender management experience.
