Graduate Safety Engineer (Air Traffic Management) Location
Bournemouth or Farnborough (5 days per week)

We are seeking a Graduate Safety Engineer to join our Air Traffic Management (ATM) Safety team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to develop a career in systems safety engineering within a highly regulated aviation environment.
Working alongside experienced Safety Engineers, you will support the delivery of safety assessments and assurance activities for ATM systems and services.
You will gain hands on experience in hazard identification, safety case development, risk assessment and regulatory compliance while contributing to projects that help maintain the safety and resilience of air traffic operations.
Key Responsibilities Support Senior Safety Engineers in the delivery of safety and assurance activities.
Undertake system safety assessments and hazard analyses.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of safety cases.
Identify, assess and manage technical risks within multidisciplinary project teams.
Assist with compliance with relevant aviation legislation, standards and regulations.
Produce high quality technical documentation and reports.
Participate in design reviews, safety workshops and project meetings.
Develop knowledge of safety management systems and ATM technologies.
Essential
Skills: Minimum 2:1 degree in a STEM subject (Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or similar).
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Desirable
Skills: Interest in aviation or Air Traffic Management.
Knowledge of systems engineering or safety engineering principles.
