What You’ll DoTo deliver a high standard of food & beverage services and ensure customer satisfaction ratings are high at all times. You must always maintain client‑focused service, politeness, and professionalism.
- To deliver waiting service during service hours professionally and pleasantly, ensuring excellent client service at all times.
- To provide food and beverage services to meeting rooms and the restaurant, cleaning and replenishing as necessary.
- Follow duties and daily plans as outlined and as stated on the rota.
- Ensure all catering areas are left clean and tidy, signing off relevant duties on the appropriate cleaning schedules.
- Assist with washing up in the food services area and ensure catering equipment is kept clean and tidy, adhering to Health & Safety standards.
- Comply with company training programmes and all related documentation.
- Follow and support any reasonable requests related to the position and department operations.
- Ensure stock and stock levels are well maintained under the supervision of the F & B Team Leader or, in their absence, the F & B Supervisor, or as directed by a senior manager.
- Take all possible steps to provide first‑class client service at all times and in all circumstances.
- Maintain a cheerful and helpful demeanour throughout working hours.
- Set rooms each evening for the following day per client requirements and company standards.
- Ensure that meeting rooms not in use are set up to company standards and, therefore, available for client show rounds.
- Ensure that all meeting rooms, staff offices and common areas are maintained to the highest level of cleanliness.
- Carry out deep‑cleaning duties within the venue as per the schedule provided by the Facilities Supervisor.
- Ensure all waste removal is carried out according to Health & Safety regulations and company standards.
- Ensure that stocks of cleaning materials are maintained by updating stock sheets.
- Store and notify your line manager of any lost property in the venue.
- Be available for staff briefings and company events, including attendance at the company.
- Be available for weekend work where necessary.
- Undertake any reasonable requests for ad‑hoc duties by the venue team.
- Carry out duties following all Health & Safety regulations and company best practice.
- Comply with the company and statutory regulations on grooming and personal hygiene standards.
- Wear the correct standard of dress or uniform at all times.
