As a global hospitality platform at the intersection of corporate conferences, meetings, and experiential events, CHG is in an exciting period of growth, having recently secured $230 million in strategic growth capital to accelerate global expansion across its multi‑brand platform.

This role is responsible for building relationships and identifying new sales leads via agents, venue finders, and event management companies, in line with the UK and global strategy. The role requires cross‑selling of both Convene and etc.venues brands.

What You'll Do:

  • Own and manage a portfolio of preferred agency partners acting as their primary CHG contact and driving wallet share growth across the Convene and etc.venues portfolio through a variety of strategic activities and quarterly business reviews.
  • Maintain preferred agency agreements delivering on commercial objectives, identifying opportunities to deepen engagement, satisfaction, long term commercial performance and unlock new buying contacts within each organisation.
  • Develop and execute account growth plans aligned with agency business objectives to proactively grow revenue and increase conversion.
  • Look at preferred agencies retention through a structured account management approach, tracking performance against targets and identifying gaps or opportunities within each account.
  • Research and target new agency relationships to supplement the preferred portfolio identifying buying influences, assessing competitor landscape, and building a pipeline of agencies with potential for preferred partner status.
  • Identify opportunities and qualify sales leads from agencies for account expansion, cross‑selling and strategic partnerships.
  • Undertake meetings (on and off‑site), deliver engaging educational presentations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for agencies and resolve any escalated client issues in a timely manner and ensure service excellence across CHG.
  • Serve as CHG's strategic Lead contact for agency association memberships (including BEAM and others), using these relationships to strengthen CHG's brand positioning and surface new commercial opportunities.
  • Communicate relevant industry news to the commercial team.
  • Maintain regular, targeted marketing communications with agency partners and prospects, liaising with the Brand Marketing team & Sales/Revenue team on relevant campaigns and content.
  • Own internal communication and organisation of all agency agreements, commercial deliverables and account activity, ensuring full transparency across the sales team.
  • Assist with and participate in corporate hospitality and promotional activities both internal and external to strengthen agency relationships.
  • Use HubSpot for daily targeted outreach, support team members in handling enquiries as required, and maintain HubSpot to ensure data accuracy for reporting, marketing, and pipeline management.
  • Adhere to CHG's sales processes and guidelines at all times.
  • Undertake reasonable ad hoc requests as directed by the Director of Operations or Director of Sales.

Financial & Commercial Reporting

  • Maintain accurate account data for preferred agency accounts in ConveneOS.
  • Assist with the preparation of statistical data, information, and management reporting relating to sales.
  • Adhere to the company's credit control and T&C guidelines.
  • Be aware of CHG's purchasing policies and guidelines.

What We're Looking For:

  • Highly self‑motivated with a minimum of 5+ years experience working directly with agencies in a proactive approach to identify and pursue opportunities without waiting to be directed.
  • A growth mindset - continuously seeking to learn, improve, and find new ways to develop agency relationships and increase wallet share.
  • Relationship selling expertise, with a demonstrated ability to build trust, deepen partnerships, and grow revenue through long‑term account management rather than transactional selling.
  • Strong presentation skills, confident and compelling when delivering to agency partners, tailoring the CHG story to different audiences and buying influences.
  • Thrives in a high‑performance culture, with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets and a drive to consistently raise the bar.

  • Highly organised with the ability to manage a portfolio of accounts, prioritise effectively, and work across multiple venues and stakeholders simultaneously.
