Operates gas or electric powered forklift truck to move, stack, load or unload materials, parts, finished goods, etc. May load/unload trucks; may use a Hi-Rise to load items in storage racks. Requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and may require vocational or technical education.

Position Overview: To provide Warehouse and Site Supply Chain support in compliance with the company’s policies/procedures and applicable regulations at the Rhymney Manufacturing facility. This includes Warehouse materials management activities and relevant SAP transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform all general Warehouse activities.
  • Material Issues to production orders, stock adjustments and corrections.
  • Calculate Production Labour Hours to include recording, maintenance of OEE data.
  • Production Order Goods Receipts.
  • Control and dispatch of intermediates to Deeside, including Transfer Order Creation, Transport arrangements and associated documents, ensuring appropriate preservation thereof.
  • Support the warehouse management system, to include re-supply, stock returns and monitoring of quarantine areas, assisting QA with the Non-Conforming Product process including segregation, material controls.
  • Goods receipts of all materials, including SAP transactions for stock and non-stock Goods Receipts.
  • Offloading/loading of Solvent, Nitrogen and Waste Tankers & control of the IBC storage area.
  • Support manufacturing on a day-to-day basis, to include line feeding, batch packaging, etc.
  • Generate Barcode labels for both stock and manufacturing material and ensure that all materials stored on or leaving site are labelled in line with quality standards.
  • Internal stock control using local warehouse management systems and SAP, to include dispensing, maintenance of Kanban areas and stock corrections.
  • Monitoring stocks of essential consumable items, to include re-stocking of consumable areas, and support consumable vending machine management.
  • Maintain and control company forklift trucks, and other manual handling equipment.
  • Assist EHS with the solid & liquid waste programme in line with ISO 14001 requirements.
  • Take part in cycle stock checks at regular intervals.
  • Maintain warehouse standards in line with Good Warehouse Practice and 5s.
  • Responsible for maintaining GMP, EHS & 5’s standards within warehouse and tank farm areas, to include cleaning activities and keeping areas tidy.
Skills & Experience:
  • Experience of working within a warehouse environment.
  • License to Drive Counterbalance Forklift Trucks.
  • Good literacy & numeracy skills.
  • Good computer skills, to include SAP, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Web based systems.

Working Conditions: This position is in a clean room manufacturing facility which produces medical device and wound care products. Compliance with GMP standards and use of proper safety glasses, safety shoes and other PPE is mandatory. Role involves working 3 shift pattern (Mornings, Days and Afternoons), but may require working abnormal hours where required. Role based in combination of unit 1 and unit 2 warehouse and tank farm areas. Position Based at Rhymney Site, Hybrid working is not an option.
