This is a key position within Ostomy Care UKI, supporting the Senior Brand Manager, DTC marketing. The role will be responsible for deployment of DTC Marketing campaigns, leading Organic Social Media and working closely with the digital management agency to track performance. Occasional campaign development & delivery will also be part of this role. The Brand Associate is responsible for logistics associated with DTC events, such as patient days, identifying suitable venues, negotiating costs & terms in line with Convatec SOPs.
The Brand Associate will closely liaise with key stakeholders across the business, including CIC, Care Teams, Digital leads and IT / Data Managers. This role therefore requires strong collaboration & communication skills, working with both internal & external stakeholders such as associated agencies & event providers.
Digital marketing proficiency is critical to this role, especially fluency with social media platforms. The Brand Associate must be able to manage MRL & MedCompli submissions for DTC activity and will also carry a support role to the marketing team, raising all PRs, tracking them through to PO & payment. They are considered an SME for PRs, POs & followingâup invoices.
The role will also work closely with the Sampling Service in NDC to ensure that the right materials are available, while managing spend & continuously exploring costâeffective solutions.
Success will be demonstrated via key metrics linked to marketing effectiveness (lead gen & brand awareness), commercial gain (NCS) & ROI.
This role reports to the Marketing Director, Ostomy Care, UKI.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development & deployment of the DTC Marketing Plan
Develop specific campaigns under the stewardship of the Senior Brand Manager, DTC
Lead Organic Social Media Management, working in collaboration with the digital management agency
Perform due diligence on requested RFDs to enable targeted BOFU marketing initiatives
Key partner in the development & deployment of the Convatec x CâUK patient days, handling logistics (bookings, catering, equipment, etc.)
Raise PRs, track POs, and serve as point of contact for queries
SME in MRL with responsibility for MRL submissions for DTC
Responsible for associated Medcompli submissions for DTC activity
Ensure the Sampling Service (NDC) is equipped with materials to support smooth delivery of samples & engaging content, while monitoring cost & cost efficiency of items
Provide adâhoc support to the Marketing Director / Senior Commercial Director
Skills & Experience

1 year+ experience of DTC marketing, ideally in a healthcare setting
High level of competency with MS Office, Adobe, Optimizely and Canva
Excellent communication skills & ability to collaborate with many different internal & external stakeholders
Canâdo attitude with the ability to multitask
Qualifications / Education
Marketing qualifications preferred but not essential

Internal: Marketing Team â collaboration & engagement; Clinical Team â collaboration & engagement with key DTC projects; CIC & Customer Care â key contact to ensure awareness of campaigns to drive signâups & support ongoing implementation, plus review of performance analytics.
External: Agencies e.g. Digital Management & Creative Agencies.
Travel Requirements
Occasional overnight stays for business meetings.
Working Conditions
Hybrid working with 2 days per week in the office, driven by business requirements; Convatec has a flexible approach to office working.
