Provide Warehouse and Site Supply Chain support in compliance with the company’s policies, procedures and applicable regulations at the Rhymney Manufacturing facility. Include warehouse materials management activities and relevant SAP transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all general warehouse activities.
  • Issue materials to production orders, handle stock adjustments and corrections.
  • Calculate production labour hours, including recording and maintaining OEE data.
  • Process production order goods receipts.
  • Control and dispatch intermediates to Deeside, creating transfer orders, arranging transport and maintaining associated documents.
  • Support the warehouse management system through re‑supply, stock returns and monitoring of quarantine areas; assist QA with the non‑conforming product process, including segregation and material controls.
  • Process goods receipts of all materials, including SAP transactions for stock and non‑stock receipts.
  • Offload and load solvent, nitrogen and waste tankers and manage the IBC storage area.
  • Support manufacturing on a day‑to‑day basis, including line feeding and batch packaging.
  • Generate barcode labels for stock and manufacturing material and ensure all material stored on or leaving the site is labelled to quality standards.
  • Maintain internal stock control using local warehouse management systems and SAP, including dispensing, maintaining Kanban areas and correcting stock balances.
  • Monitor stocks of essential consumables, restock consumable areas and support consumable vending machine management.
  • Maintain and control company forklift trucks and other manual handling equipment.
  • Assist EHS with the solid and liquid waste programme in line with ISO 14001 requirements.
  • Participate in cycle stock checks at regular intervals.
  • Maintain warehouse standards in line with Good Warehouse Practice and 5S.
  • Ensure GMP, EHS and 5S standards are upheld within warehouse and tank farm areas, including cleaning activities and keeping areas tidy.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience working within a warehouse environment.
  • License to drive counterbalance forklift trucks.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Good computer skills, including SAP, Word, Excel, Outlook and web‑based systems.

Working Conditions

The position is in a clean‑room manufacturing facility that produces medical devices and wound‑care products. Compliance with GMP standards and the use of proper safety glasses, safety shoes and other PPE is mandatory. The role involves a three‑shift pattern (mornings, days and afternoons) and may require abnormal hours where required. The job is based in a combination of unit 1 and unit 2 warehouse and tank farm areas. The position is located at the Rhymney site; hybrid working is not an option.
