Manufacturing Production manages or assists with various production activities (e. g., assembly, material forming/shaping, processing, treating, or packaging, etc.) including:

  • Planning, directing, monitoring and/or operating machine tool, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards
  • Maintaining accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis
  • Identifying need, Planning, prioritizing, and managing production line or machine maintenance/downtime to minimize disruptions
  • May liase with other departments as input to developing production schedules and allocating labor/capital resources

  • Production of wound care intermediates through operation of process equipment

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Raw material handling and preparation.
  • Operation of process equipment.
  • Coaching and mentoring new operators in how to operate equipment and complete processes.
  • Completion of batch documentation inline with Good documentation Practice (GDP).
  • Performance monitoring and basic fault finding of processes.
  • Compliance with Operating procedures and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
  • Cleaning and general maintenance of work area.
  • Compliance with company Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements.
  • Completed batch handling and packaging
  • Co-ordinate CI activities, MIB, Kaizen and 5S
  • Implement Improvements following CI activities
  • Maintain CI standards

Education/Experience/Qualifications

  • Basic skills (English and Mathematics)
  • Demonstrates understanding and application of company procedures, EHS and GMP requirements.
  • Demonstrates competency, flexibility and consistency in the core Rhymney production processes.
  • Working Conditions
  • Role involves shift working (8 hour rotating double day pattern)

Role based in combination of Clean rooms and production areas.
