Position Overview

The Global Marketing Director Innovation Hydrofiber Technology is responsible for end‑to‑end pipeline development and delivery from idea to launch, ensuring commercial success. The role leads the New Product Strategy and Innovation roadmap, partners with R&D to build a focused innovation pipeline, and enables the BU to deliver on new product launches following the IDEAL process. It collaborates with regional and local marketing leaders to centralise needs for commercial execution, supports sales performance achievement, and develops launch marketing campaigns with the Digital and Marcom team. The Director also partners with Medical Affairs and Medical Education teams to build a strong medical education curriculum and other activities for HCPs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and address the clinical unmet needs for wound care patients (chronic and surgical wounds).
  • Analyze the competitive landscape of Advanced Wound Care (AWC) globally.
  • Champion Launch Excellence Process globally and locally for Hydrofiber technology products.
  • Build strong Global Marketing and Launch plans and coordinate the local marketing plan build‑up for Hydrofiber technology product category.
  • Develop marketing toolkits globally for local deployment in coordination with the Digital Marcom team.
  • Establish, maintain, and manage effective interactions and relationships with outside agencies and vendors.
  • Develop field execution tools and sales aids that help sales representatives effectively deliver appropriate messages.
  • Develop and execute sales training materials to enable superior field execution and delivery of value messages.
  • Consolidate local market needs for competitive rebuttal and commercial/incremental innovation.
  • Align the Global brand strategy and execution with regional and local leaders.
  • Coordinate with regional partners to ensure flawless alignment between local market needs and the innovation roadmap.
  • Perform any other duties reasonably required in line with main duties.

Skills & Experience

  • Significant experience in medical device companies, including global marketing, commercial, or sales.
  • Proven track record in advanced wound dressing development (advantage).
  • Proven track record of delivering global product launches to execution.
  • Previous experience in hospital complex sale process.
  • Previous experience in community channel sale process.
  • Financial acumen and business case development.
  • Clear communication skills across a variety of stakeholder levels.
  • Gravitas and executive presence.
  • Rigor in process planning and execution tracking.
  • Influencing skills to navigate easily in a matrix organization.
  • Team player mindset; collaborative and engaging approach.
  • Strategic vision, analytical skills, and big‑picture thinking.
  • Proven team leadership experience.
  • Passion for wound care customers and patients.

Qualifications / Education

  • Master’s degree preferably in Science, Marketing, or Business.

This is a hybrid role linked to our headquarters in London Paddington.
