About the role
Senior Labelling Programme Manager – responsible for leading the global implementation of a new artwork management software across Convatec. This highly visible and complex programme impacts multiple business units, manufacturing sites, and third-party partners. In this role you will own the end-to-end rollout, from building the business case through to implementation, adoption, and ongoing optimisation. You will map current processes, define the future state, and ensure the solution is successfully embedded across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including SAP and Master Data teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and delivery. Strong stakeholder management is key to keeping the programme on track.
Your key duties and responsibilities:
- Overall responsible for business case to implementation of new artwork software covering multiple business units and production sites.
- Create project plan and deliver accordingly, focusing on setting up the best future way of creating artwork.
- Escalate issues or if timelines cannot be met.
- Large stakeholder work – working closely with project team, stakeholders, approvers and vendors.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills to present information and communicate effectively at all levels within the company and cross-functionally with departments such as Regulatory, Quality, Purchasing, Operations and Marketing.
- Manage multiple concurrent deadlines, employing project management skills to ensure multiple labelling programmes progress and meet expected milestones.
- Work in a team environment including multi-site cross-functional team members across geographies and time zones.
- Make decisions when needed and prepare recommendations to senior management on decisions and opportunities.
- Ensure that the new ways of working adhere to all relevant industry and internal guidelines.
- Identify problems and solutions that arise with projects and lead and discuss accordingly.
- Demonstrate full compliance with ConvaTec’s Quality Management System (QMS), policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with the legislative and internal requirements of the EHS and participate in meeting the company's targets in the EHS area.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience as Programme or Project Manager for a large implementation project.
- Great experience as a project manager.
- Experience leading a large project team across sites and cultures.
- Experience implementing new software, preferably artwork software.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP and supply chain.
- Experience in the artwork labelling area.
- Experience in the medical device industry or a similar regulated industry.
- Experience with design control.
- Highly structured, able to progress tasks in parallel, and proven problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in Technical English, verbal and written.
- Highly computer literate (Microsoft Office).
- Experience working in an environment with multiple cultures and businesses.
Qualifications / Education:
- Degree in science, technical, engineering, supply chain or similar.
- Certified Project Manager.
- Knowledge and experience with labelling software or similar.
- Experience with project management tools.
Travel Requirements:
Position may involve travel up to 25% of the time, mostly within Europe but overseas travel is expected. Most trips will include overnight travel.
