Manufacturing Production manages or assists with various production activities including:
- Planning, directing, monitoring and/or operating machine tool, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards.
- Maintaining accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis.
- Identifying need, planning, prioritising, and managing production line or machine maintenance/downtime to minimise disruptions.
- May liaise with other departments as input to developing production schedules and allocating labour/capital resources.
An entry-level position typically requiring little to no prior knowledge or experience:
- Work is routine or follows standard procedures.
- Work is closely supervised.
- Communicates information that requires little explanation or interpretation.
Job Summary: Production of wound care intermediates through operation of process equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Raw material handling and preparation.
- Operation of process equipment.
- Coaching and mentoring new operators in how to operate equipment and complete processes.
- Completion of batch documentation in line with Good Documentation Practice (GDP).
- Performance monitoring and basic fault finding of processes.
- Compliance with Operating procedures and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
- Cleaning and general maintenance of work area.
- Compliance with company Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements.
- Completed batch handling and packaging.
- Co-ordinate CI activities, MIB, Kaizen and 5S.
- Implement improvements following CI activities.
- Maintain CI standards.
Education/Experience/Qualifications:
- Basic skills (English and Mathematics).
- Demonstrates understanding and application of company procedures, EHS and GMP requirements.
- Demonstrates competency, flexibility and consistency in the core Rhymney production processes.
Working Conditions:
- Role involves shift working (8 hour rotating double day pattern).
- Role based in combination of clean rooms and production areas.
