About the Role
As Marketing Data & Effectiveness Manager, you will lead our global Voice of Customer (VoC) programme and enable more effective, personalized, and measurable marketing campaigns across business units and markets.
Responsibilities:
- Design a streamlined VoC programme that regularly captures customer feedback consistently across countries and business units following our Data, Insights, Action approach.
- Seamlessly execute surveys that gather insightful feedback from a robust and unbiased sample of customers.
- Build text analytics models (using AI where possible) to understand customer sentiment, classify feedback, and uncover key pain points and drivers.
- Share results in a timely way at all appropriate levels of the business.
- Determine the best mechanism to communicate insights to each audience—presentation, self-serve dashboard, or tailored presentation styles.
- Ensure all customer feedback is acted upon in a timely manner at the right organizational levels by implementing feedback loops and collecting action trackers.
- Communicate programme updates and scores to the organization to embed the VoC programme fully in the business.
- Define the data fundamentals needed within Convatec to deliver personalized communication and build a roadmap with each BU to close any data gaps.
- Work closely with the Marketing Performance Manager to monitor current campaign performance, provide guidance to improve performance, and share best practice insights.
- Build insightful case studies that merge the latest external best practice with current Convatec performance.
- Partner with SFE colleagues to build a marketing segmentation approach for HCPs that aligns with sales segmentation and implement it in key markets.
- Evaluate the capabilities of Dynamics Customer Insights and Data platform, understand key use cases with each Business Unit, and determine whether to enable the module.
- Partner with IT on a project plan—including obtaining relevant funding—to enable the module and determine the data sources.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in Customer Experience, Voice of Customer, or Marketing Effectiveness roles, preferably in healthcare, MedTech, pharma, or B2B.
- Proven experience running global VoC programmes from survey design to insight activation.
- Strong capability in text analytics, sentiment analysis, and AI-enabled insight generation.
- Solid expertise in customer segmentation, customer journeys, and personalized omnichannel marketing.
- Hands-on experience measuring and optimizing campaign performance.
- Advanced analytical skills and confidence working with complex, multi-source data.
- Familiarity with CRM, CDPs, and marketing technology ecosystems.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, able to influence senior stakeholders.
- A collaborative, curious, and proactive mindset with confidence to lead at pace in a global matrix.
- A data-driven mindset and enjoyment of turning customer insight into real business impact.
