Responsibilities include global governance of social media and omnichannel marketing, coordinating global and local activities across known platforms. Owning an integrated omnichannel approach, aligning digital campaigns with field sales, congresses, and other offline touchpoints. Defining global content strategy and planning: why, what, who, where content is created, stored, reused, and optimized. Overseeing content creation and management, ensuring consistent brand guidelines, editorial standards, and effective use of organic and paid social. Driving channel rationalisation and platform governance, including social media policies, brand clinics, and global tools (e.g. Brandwatch, Canva). Building a full-funnel approach, where social drives engagement and SEO‑optimised web content drives long‑term traffic. Using data, analytics, and listening tools (GA4, social analytics, CDP, Power BI) to measure performance and optimise content effectiveness. Partnering cross‑functionally with Marketing, Sales, Design, SEO, Corporate Affairs, IT, and GBUs to drive transformation. Leading capability development, designing training programmes, playbooks, and toolkits to uplift digital and content skills globally. Acting as a thought leader and subject‑matter expert, monitoring emerging trends, platforms, and technologies to drive innovation and future readiness.
Candidate Profile: You are a strategic, digitally fluent content and channel expert who thrives in global, matrixed environments. You combine creativity with strong governance and data‑driven decision‑making, and you enjoy enabling others to succeed through clear frameworks and capability building.
Qualifications include strong experience in global social media, content strategy, and omnichannel marketing. Hands‑on knowledge of organic and paid social, SEO, web traffic strategies, and influencer partnerships. Experience with CMS platforms, social media management and listening tools, and digital analytics. Understanding of crisis communication and reputation management in collaboration with Corporate Affairs. Proven ability to define and enforce governance, standards, playbooks, and ways of working. Strong analytical mindset, using data to evaluate performance and continuously improve impact. Excellent stakeholder management skills, partnering confidently across Marketing, Sales, IT, Corporate Affairs, and external agencies. Passion for capability building, designing and delivering engaging training and skills programmes. Curiosity and foresight, with a keen interest in emerging digital trends, platforms, and AI‑enabled marketing. A degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Public Relations, or similar; healthcare, MedTech, or pharma marketing experience is a strong plus.
