Our client is a nutrition and supplements business seeking a commercially focused Project Manager – New Business to join a growing team within a fast-paced FMCG / product development environment.
In this role, you will take ownership of client projects once formulation and costing have been agreed, driving them through the full development lifecycle through to packaging, production coordination, and final sign-off. You will act as the central point of contact during this phase, balancing client expectations with internal technical and commercial requirements to ensure successful and timely product delivery to market. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys managing multiple moving parts, thrives in a dynamic environment, and is motivated by turning product concepts into commercially successful launches.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the Senior Business Development Manager to ensure a smooth transition from sales concept to project execution
- Act as the main client contact throughout the development and pre-launch phase
- Manage multiple concurrent projects across product development, packaging, costing, and production readiness
- Ensure all projects remain commercially viable while meeting technical and client requirements
- Drive progress across internal teams to maintain momentum and meet deadlines
- Provide structured handover documentation to the Account Management team at point of order
- Stay informed on market trends and category developments to support innovation and competitiveness
- Experience in project or account management within FMCG, NPD, nutrition, supplements, or a product-led environment
- Proven ability to manage projects from concept through to completion or launch
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Confident taking ownership of end-to-end project delivery and structure
- Experience working cross-functionally with NPD, production, operations, and commercial teams
- Strong communication and client-facing skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
- Commercial awareness, including exposure to costings, pricing, or margin management
- A proactive, delivery-focused mindset with a passion for bringing products to market
- FMCG industry experience is beneficial but not essential
Success will be measured by your ability to effectively manage new client projects from initial brief through to a commercially viable first order, ensuring strong client relationships and smooth internal execution throughout.
