My client is seeking a hands-on Quality professional ready to take the next step in a fast-paced FMCG environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive Quality Manager to support the Technical function and drive food safety, quality, and compliance standards across the site. It’s an ideal position for someone who thrives on the factory floor, enjoys influencing teams, and wants to make a tangible impact on product quality and overall site performance.

As Quality Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of safety, legality, and quality. Working closely with the Technical Manager, you’ll be responsible for day-to-day quality control, audit readiness, and continuous improvement across the operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out quality checks across raw materials, production, and finished goods
  • Maintain high factory standards, including GMP, hygiene, and housekeeping
  • Monitor CCPs and ensure accurate record keeping
  • Support allergen management and traceability processes
  • Assist with BRCGS and customer compliance requirements
  • Conduct internal audits and drive corrective actions
  • Investigate non-conformances and support complaint resolution
  • Deliver training and guidance to production teams on quality standards
  • Support intake checks, product specifications, and labelling compliance
  • Play an active role in audit preparation and ensure the site is always audit-ready
About You
  • Experience in a Quality or QA role within FMCG or food manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP, GMP, and hygiene standards
  • HACCP Level 2 or 3 qualified
  • Confident carrying out audits, inspections, and investigations
  • Hands-on, detail-focused, and comfortable working on the factory floor
  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence and challenge where needed
Desirable
  • Knowledge of BRCGS standards
  • Experience working with major retailer requirements
