Quality Inspector
Monday – Thursday 7:00am – 4:00pm / Friday 6:00am – 3:00pm
40 Hours Per Week
£15.00+ per hour

An experienced Quality Inspector is required to work on a busy shop floor within a manufacturing environment. The role involves ensuring all materials, components, and finished products meet required quality standards and specifications.
Duties:
Inspecting raw materials, in-process parts, and finished products
Verifying dimensions using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, CMM, and gauges
Carrying out visual and functional inspections
Preparing detailed inspection reports
Recording non-conformances (NCRs) and reporting issues
Maintaining accurate quality records and traceability documentation
Working closely with production to ensure quality standards are met
Experience:
Previous experience working as a Quality Inspector within a manufacturing environment
Experience using measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
CMM experience would be advantageous
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Understanding of quality standards and inspection processes
Good record-keeping and organisational skills
