Overhead Crane Operator Location: Aldridge - WS9
Salary: £15 per hour
Hours: Monday–Thursday 7:00am–4:00pm | Friday 6:00am–3:00pm

The Role: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Overhead Crane Operator to join a busy and established steel fabrication company based in Aldridge .
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous overhead crane experience who is looking for a long-term position within a busy manufacturing and steel environment.
Key Responsibilities: Operating overhead cranes safely and efficiently within the steel fabrication environment
Moving and positioning steel materials and components around the workshop
Loading and unloading materials using the overhead crane
Ensuring loads are correctly secured and safely handled
Following all site health & safety procedures and lifting regulations
Working closely with the production and workshop teams
Carrying out general workshop duties when required
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
The successful candidate will ideally have:
Previous experience operating an overhead crane
Experience working within a steel, manufacturing, engineering or fabrication environment
Good understanding of safe lifting and handling procedures
Ability to work safely and efficiently in a busy workshop
Good attention to detail
Reliable and punctual attitude
Ability to work as part of a team
A strong awareness of health & safety
An in-date & external overhead crane licence/certificate WILL be an ESSENTIAL
