Nights Machine Operator Monday to Thursday / 4pm - 4am Aldridge - WS9 £15.50 per hour to start

Role Overview: We are looking for a motivated and reliable Machine Operator to join our night shift production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machinery safely and efficiently, ensuring production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved. Working within a busy manufacturing environment, you'll play a key role in producing precision-engineered steel components while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate manufacturing machinery in accordance with work instructions.
  • Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments where required.
  • Load and unload steel plate and components safely.
  • Read and interpret production paperwork, drawings and job specifications.
  • Carry out quality inspections to ensure products meet customer specifications.
  • Complete production documentation accurately.
  • Perform routine machine checks and report any faults or maintenance requirements.
  • Work to daily production schedules and achieve agreed output targets.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across the work area.
  • Follow all Health and Safety regulations.
