Pay Rate: £14.00 - £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Controlled Labour Solutions are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector / Trainee Quality Inspector on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous quality inspection experience or an individual looking to develop a long-term career within quality and manufacturing.

Working Hours:

  • Monday - Thursday: 7:00am - 4:00pm
  • Friday: 6:00am - 3:00pm
  • 20-minute paid break
  • 30-minute unpaid lunch break

Duties Include:

  • Inspecting raw materials, in-process parts, and finished products
  • Verifying dimensions using measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM equipment
  • Carrying out visual and functional inspections
  • Preparing and completing inspection reports
  • Recording non-conformances (NCRs)
  • Maintaining quality records and traceability documentation
  • Supporting production teams to ensure quality standards are met

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Experience using measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers preferred
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to read engineering drawings is advantageous
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Trainee applicants with the right attitude and willingness to learn will also be considered
