Hygiene PM Operative

to join a busy food manufacturing environment. This is an important role within the production team, responsible for ensuring that

production areas, machinery and equipment are cleaned to the highest possible standards , ready for the next production shift. If you have previous experience working within a

food manufacturing, food production or industrial cleaning environment , and take pride in maintaining high standards of hygiene, we would love to hear from you. The Role

As a Hygiene PM Operative, your main responsibilities will include: Cleaning production areas and manufacturing equipment to a high standard. Preparing production areas for cleaning. Foaming and rinsing machinery and equipment. Scrubbing machinery and areas within the processing environment. Hand cleaning utensils and delicate equipment. Dismantling and reassembling production equipment to allow thorough cleaning. Following all company cleaning procedures and instructions. Ensuring equipment and the processing environment are fully prepared for production. Following strict

health & safety and food safety procedures

at all times. Correctly using PPE and following COSHH procedures when handling cleaning chemicals. Correctly disposing of waste and segregating waste products where required. Reporting any issues or concerns to the Hygiene PM Supervisor. Completing relevant training as required. Working closely with other departments to ensure production can operate safely and efficiently. About You

The successful candidate will ideally have: Previous experience cleaning within a

food processing/manufacturing environment . An understanding of industrial cleaning processes and equipment. Basic experience using

jet washes . Experience dismantling and reassembling machinery or equipment. An understanding of

COSHH and safe chemical handling . A strong understanding of health & safety and food hygiene. A reliable and hardworking attitude. Good attention to detail and pride in your work. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good communication skills. Flexibility and a willingness to learn. Food Safety Level 2 and COSHH experience would be advantageous, although full in-house training will be provided where required. Important Information

hands-on hygiene role within a food manufacturing environment . The role involves working in a
